SiteAttend is a work app. A construction company (the employer) runs a SiteAttend server and gives
its site engineers, supervisors and workers access. The employer decides what is recorded and keeps the records.
Anjanadhri Groups makes the app and, when the employer chooses our cloud hosting, stores the records on the employer's behalf.
We never sell data and the app shows no advertising.
What the app records
- Photos taken in the app: at every attendance punch (IN / OUT), and of materials, bills, receipts, work progress and machine meters when the user records them.
- A face print (a list of numbers made from the punch photos) used only to check that the person in a punch photo is the person being marked. It cannot be turned back into a photo.
- Precise location (GPS) at every punch and record, to show whether it was made at the site. If the employer switches on shift tracking, the Android app also records the location every few minutes while the person is punched IN, shown by a notification; it stops at punch OUT. Location is not collected when the person is not on shift.
- Name, mobile number, role and wage as entered by the employer, and amounts of advances, wages and site expenses.
- Phone model, Android version and battery level, to help the employer understand missed records.
Why it is recorded
Only for the employer's attendance, wages, site records, progress reports and safety checks. Every person sees what the app records on the first screen after logging in and must accept it before using the app.
Where it is kept and who sees it
- On the employer's SiteAttend server - the employer's own computer, or a cloud server run by Anjanadhri Groups for the employer. Records are sent over the internet encrypted (https) when the server has an internet address.
- The employer's office staff see the records. A building owner sees only what the employer shares through a client link (progress and photos of work - never wages or the list of workers).
- If the employer turns on AI reading of bills and receipts, the photo of that bill is sent to Anthropic's Claude service to read the amounts; it is not used to train their models. WhatsApp and email reports go through the providers the employer sets up.
- A company that signs up for our cloud service gives us its company and contact details, signs the customer agreement online and uploads one company document (such as a GST certificate or PAN card). We keep these only to check the company and as the record of our agreement; only Anjanadhri Groups sees them.
- If you ask us to call you back on our website, we keep the name, mobile number, city and number of workers you give, only to call you about SiteAttend. Ask us and we delete them.
- The chat assistant on our website and the Help assistant inside SiteAttend are AI (Claude, by Anthropic). What you type there is sent to Anthropic only to write the answer, and we keep the chat for 90 days to improve our service and to call you back if you asked. Do not type passwords or bank details in a chat.
- Our public web pages (not the SiteAttend app or dashboard) use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read, and may use Google's advertising tag and the Meta (Facebook / Instagram) Pixel to count how many visitors sign up or message us after clicking one of our ads. Google and Meta get no names, phone numbers or emails from these tags. If your browser sends "Global Privacy Control" or "Do Not Track", these tags are not loaded at all.
- Nothing from the SiteAttend app or dashboard (attendance, workers, wages, photos) is shared with advertisers or data brokers.
How long it is kept
As long as the employer keeps it for its records (wage and attendance records are usually kept for several years by law). When a hosted employer stops using SiteAttend, we give them a copy of their data and delete it from our server when they ask.
Your choices
- Location and camera access can be turned off in the phone's settings; the app then cannot make punches with GPS or photos.
- To see, correct or delete your records, ask your employer's office. If they do not help, write to us at the address below and we will pass it on and follow up.
Children
SiteAttend is for workplaces and is not meant for anyone under 18.
